I have never been ashamed of my grandmother ever working as a seamstress. I would recall when I was young that she would always show me the right way to stitch clothes. I thought it was the most boring lessons that I had but I did absorb some of her skills. I can still stitch up pillow cases or even repair my clothes when they get ripped. Believe me or not, but I still use one of our antique Singer sewing machines and it still does a great job of doing these. My mother has already sold our other sewing machines but I could not let go of this one. I would always remember my grandma when I see this and just keep a maintenance check up on this. Good thing, that this is really a good brand that there are no damages to its appearance that it still looks new.
